INDIGOs have managed to blow us away with their sonic spectrum
Bristol In Stereo
Bristol’s heavy pop trio INDIGOs blend elements of 90’s alt-rock, dream-pop and psychedelia to create a fresh, yet nostalgic sound.
Co-fronted, the male-female vocal combo exhibit dreamy almost eerie harmonies as the band’s focal element. Imagine the illegitimate lovechild of Pixies, Smashing Pumpkins and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. Lyrically, they draw on themes of empowerment, self-reflection and growth.
We came across INDIGOs last year as they quickly started turning heads in the Bristol scene, which resulted in their recent signing with London label Club AC30 for their debut EP.
With support from BBC Introducing and airplay on 6 Music this year is set to be a big one for INDIGOs – just remember you heard them on the farm first!
