Bristol based DJ and promoter George Oscar has been a mainstay of the city’s scene since the start of the decade. He started out playing Hip Hop, Reggae and Drum and Bass, later adding Funk, Soul, Jazz and Electonica into the mix, and finally finding his sound in House, Techno and Disco.
His deep vinyl collection spans Frank Sinatra to Surgeonand is career as a promoter is similarly diverse evolving from an outdoor mini-festival, Springstan in Herefordshire, into Set It Out, a well-respected Bristol party offering hazy day parties and hedonistic late nights.
