They met as highly active members of Bristol’s progressive jazz music scene, quickly bonding over their shared love for an eclectic range of music; from pop and psych through to prog, disco and afrobeat.
We subsequently fell in love with them and invited Cousin Kula to perform at Farmfest 2017 (did we mention we were shortlisted for Best Line-up at the UK Festival Awards that year?).
Fair to say they smashed their set because we’ve invited them back for more of the same in 2019. With more new releases planned this summer it’s an exciting time to be a Cousin Kula fan.
