The solo project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Laura Kidd, She Makes War, is one of those indie success stories that we all love to read about. She directs her own videos, presents regular online gigs for her listeners around the globe and has supported an incredible list of names such as Suede, tUnE-yArDs, Gruff Rhys and The Magic Numbers.
After launching a Pledge Music campaign for her album ‘Brace For Impact’ she went on to secure a #15 independent albums chart placement last year. The full band performance takes place in our new sanctuary of indie-rock, Usagi’s Tavern, on Friday evening.
