A lot’s happened since Bristol producer Pete Cunningham and his jazzwise electronic outfit Ishmael Ensemble joined us in the Big Blue back in 2017.
Their debut album was crowned Contemporary Album of the Month by The Guardian and Jazz Album of the Month by MOJO Magazine. They’ve had countless radio plays from the likes of Moses Boyd, Tom Ravenscroft and Giles Peterson, plus they’ve completed their first headline UK tour.
It only seems right that this year they take the leap up to our Main Stage.
